Album: Student Design Exhibition, August 2003 Mott Haven Public Library
This exhibition is the fruit of a creative collaboration between Friends of Brook Park and Camino de Paz Labyrinths, and the youth of Mott Haven Village Prep and Pueblo en Marcha (People on the Move). This project is part of the Artists and Communities program of Mid Atlantic Arts Foundation made possible by major funding from the JP Morgan Chase Foundation. Special thanks to the New York City Department of Parks and Recreation.

Album: Design workshops with local Youth
Caminodepaz.org artist Ariane Burgess has worked with ninth graders from Mott Haven Prep, a project of East Side Settlement, and the youth group of Pueblo en Marcha to envision the revitalization of a section of our Park. The months long initiative included site visits, measurements, sketches, drawings and scale models. The major aspects of the students designs include significant green space, a labyrinth and water component reflecting the planned daylighting and restoration of the underground brook.

Album: Scope Meeting: Council Member Phil Reed and Bx Commissioner Mr. Aponte
On March 17th we hosted the Scope Meeting to review our vision and plan to make the most effective use of the resources allocated by Council Member Phil Reed fand Borough President Adolofo Carrion for Brook Park. A great jam sesssion, with an enormous outpouring of community support from PS 43, MS 220, Mott haven prep, VSNY, Puebloe en Marcha, NYCHA, For a Better Bronx and more! Vegan pizza, avocado sandwiches and non-dairy cookies rounded it out! This was an enormous celebration and success and accomplishment on our path.
